Our Favorite Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Experiences

It’s that time of year here in Dayton: the circus is coming to town! In honor of this, here are some of our most memorable moments with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey.

We took Kelsey to see Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey for the first time a few years back and she loved seeing all the performers and animal acts. Although, I think the highlight for her was getting to each as much popcorn as she wanted.

Thanks to the Blue Star Museum program, we checked out the Ringling Museum in Sarasota while we were living in Tampa. It was neat to learn more about what the performers do and the history of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

Finally, the pre-show is always the best part of the show, when you can interact with the performers and get to see some of the acts up close. We took our oldest out for a bit shortly after our second was born for some one-on-one time while my Mom watched the baby (a perk of living close to the venue).

Last year, we decided to do a circus theme for Halloween this year. I found matching tiger costumes for the girls, we have the items to dress my husband like an animal trainer, and I just need to decorate a red jacket, thrift store find to wear with a top hat for my ringmaster costume.

I received something of value from Feld Entertainment as part of their Insider Program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
