Imagine Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway

I have tried a few all-in-one cloth diapers with mixed results over my time cloth diapering but had decided to stay with pockets. Some recent success had made me curious to try them out again. At the same time, I’ve been trying out bamboo inserts so the chance to try a bamboo all-in-one was something I couldn’t pass up. I received a bamboo all-in-one diaper from Imagine Baby Products to try out and let you know about.

First off, how cute is their Trumpet print?! I love that it is gender neutral and I enjoy the rounded style of all their prints. The colors they use have a nice, vibrant appearance. The main thing I couldn’t get over when I opened the diaper up was how soft the coordinating colored, 70% bamboo/30% cotton inside was. With 3 sizes in one diaper, this should fit 8-35 lbs.

The star of the show is the 4-layer bamboo soaker pad. It is soft and very absorbent without feeling too think or heavy. It snaps into the back of the liner so it can be taken off to wash or you can leave it on. It runs the full length of the completely unsnapped cover so it needs to be folded up when the rise is shortened. It has made getting my squirmy 7 month old spanned in to it a little tricky at times since it ends up being a little full in the front (they also come in hook and loop). However, once it’s on, it’s still pretty trim.

As I said before, it is quite absorbent but the cut of the diaper keeps everything contained. All that bamboo power does have a small price – I have found that it takes a little longer to dry after being washed compared to microfiber and fleece lined pockets. I choose to give my inserts a head start by putting them in the dryer on low before hanging any that are still damp so I have been detaching the soaker from the diaper. If you choose to leave it connected, there is one less step before and after washing and your diaper will be ready for its next use.

Speaking of prices to pay, that may be one of the best features of this diaper. For a bamboo, one-size diaper, $14.95 is a great price. You can check out the entire Imagine Baby Products line here. My favorite is Rawr…But I’m sure I’d get flack for putting it on my daughter lol…So my second favorite is Trumpet. 🙂

Love the trumpet print! We are expecting our first baby & team green, so I think it will be perfect for either a girl or boy!

I love the Trumpet print. I have a newborn cover in that print, but sadly it’s too small now. Flutter is cute, too.

  4. I really like the one pictured with the elephants. My daughter thinks it’s hilarious when I pretend to be an elephant, so she would be tickled to death to have elephants on her diaper.

My favorite imagine print is the Flutter. I already own a newborn AIO in that print. But my second favorite is the Tree Friends Flats 🙂

I love the trumpet print. Perfect gender neutral print that can work for either gender since we don’t know yet!
